Because it is that time of year, we decided to host one of our own. But, of course, we decided to put our own special Test Kitchen spin on it. This event is going to be a collaborative dinner where each of you will have a hand in creating the menu.
This event is for people who love to cook, gardeners who love to grow, bread or dessert makers. This is where you get to bring your best dish to Test Kitchen and let the others around the table enjoy something you are proud to have contributed to the meal.
This is not a cooking competition; this is about sharing something of yourself with others. If you grow the best tomatoes, make a lovely salad with them and bring it. If you make the best bread or dessert, we want to taste it. Just bring us your best, and bring 20 copies of your recipe to share with others.
But you won't be doing all of the cooking on your own. We have enlisted the help of Trevor Blaylock, Founder of "Hoggy Style," an award-winning competitive Kansas City barbeque team to be our Pitmaster for the night. He will be talking about his big BBQ rig, what it's like to be on the circuit and tips for making his award-winning ribs and beef brisket.
The hottest trend right now in the underground supperclub scene are dinners where each member is asked to bring something to the table for others to enjoy. It's about sharing your passion for food, with others who feel the same way. Trevor will be sharing his love of BBQ with all of you, just like you will be sharing your dishes with him.

Before you put your name in the lottery, please understand that you will be expected to bring something you made to contribute to this dinner.
The menu will be developed and prepared by, well, you. The barbeque will be provided by Trevor Blaylock, Founder of "Hoggy Style".
We will have our traditional opening cocktail, with beer and/or wine provided throughout the meal.
